Ended the days of wrestling with mismatched threads; the 1" NPS nut seats cleanly against my meter with zero wobble. The MNPT side threaded on smoothly too, which made the whole install a quick, dry-fit-and-done job.
The threads on both ends lined up perfectly with my meter setup, so installation took less than five minutes without any wrestling. The nut side grips securely and hasn't shown a hint of a drip since I tightened it down.
The NPS nut threads onto my meter without any wobble, and the MNPT side tightened up snug with just a bit of Teflon tape. Took me about five minutes to swap out the old fitting, and the seal’s been drip-free for two weeks now.
